Hello!
I agree with all here - eliminating plastic is worthy and challenging. Here are some of mine:
* Laundry detergent from Dropps (www.dropps.com) that is shipped in recycled/recyclable cardboard boxes and comes in pods, so there's no plastic waste. Yay!
* Carry a blender bottle of water & refill, so no need to (ever) buy plastic water bottles.
* Make my own deodorant (equal parts coconut oil, baking soda and cornstarch) and toothpaste (baking soda + coconut oil).
* Avoid buying pre-made frozen meals - but if/when I do, I get the ones that come in cardboard containers (Amy's Organics are good).
* Ask 'do I really need it?' and if the answer is yes, finding the best option (and reusing the packaging if/wherever possible).
* Buy secondhand wherever it makes sense
Thanks for some great ideas!
