took it apart and cleaned, lube as suggested. I think it all comes down to tightening the bolts just enough for fine tuning. these r the pics of it opened and closed and its the best I could get it. Its still off alittle but it cuts. If y'all got any other ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks alot. I know I'll have other things to ask about sometime or another. Jim

I tried oiling everything, the little arm moves freely but it still is going to one side. When I close it. it will go to a normal closing position. I've been trying to adjust this for years and it kills me that I'm going to have to buy another but I'll most like keep torture myself to find a fix. Thanks for your help.

craziest thing I've seen. did what you suggested, losened the littler bolt and the small arm moves. However, it still opens and closes on one side or another.

I tried adjusting the 4 bolt but to no avail. here's the cutters opened, closed and side view.

I've got a 18 in bolt cutter that has a head that opens and closes on one side ot another and cant find anything online that shows how to adjust it (see photo attached) how do I adjust?
