So a few months ago my wife and I purchased a 10 acre property in East Texas. On the property there is about 6 acres of pasture that we plan on using for grazing. My question is, is it bad that the pasture is North sloping? I’ve tried to do research and I'm not really getting any answers. I understand that the pasture won’t get as much sunlight as a south sloping pasture, but in East Texas is that a good thing? Especially in drought seasons? All of this is concerning grass growth.
