Looks male to me. I think the dark yellow parts are corollas from unopened flowers. There are a couple of flowers that can be seen in isolation, and they have the upstanding anthers of a male (female anthers are on filaments reflexed back away from the ovary) and lack the stigma of a female or perfect/hermaphroditic flower.
