I sealed a tiny pond. It took me two days.

- I dug a hole 21 inches deep and 28 inches wide
- I poured five gallons of water into the hole. It drained in 5 minutes. (Water in at 2:06, water drained at 2:11)
- I used a pry bar to compact the soil. I stomped and smoothed with my boots. This is the part that took an another session.
- the final, successful test is documented in photos. The five gallons goes in at 11:15. The water is just at the edge of my stick (substitute for toothpick). At 12:15, the water has dropped less than a half of an inch.

It was cool to see that this is possible. Next time I may enlist some hogs to do the compaction.

I made a sweet little pillow!

- I used organic cotton fabric scraps
- I cut the fabric at 11 inches, leaving a half inch all around for the seam.
- it’s 10 inches by 10 inches
- I used organic coffee chaff for the stuffing.

I white washed this wall.

- I used a mix of lime, salt and water.
- the area was 89” x 53.5” (4,761.5 square inches total). This slightly exceeds the minimum requirement of 4,608 square inches (48” x 96”)
- my mix was a bit runny, so I ended up putting four coats on.

Cool process!

I wove this basket out of willow. It meets the size requirements (4” wide and 3” deep), as demonstrated by the water bottle.

I darned this sock. I used 100% cotton yarn. Excited to wear this mended sock!

@jeremy, Sure thing. Here’s a photo- the log bench is 91 and a quarter inches (7’6” ish).

Made a three log bench.

I used a chainsaw to rip the log in half, but hand tools for chiseling the saddle joint and hewing the surface.
