We were confused because Paul Wheaton said the above, which sounded like it was implying that cotton was ok if it was insulated. This is how we make our hot pads, that we have used for years, it uses three strands of yarn, and is 3/8 inch thick. And since cotton doesn't shrink like wool does, ten by ten inches would be too big. I respectfully request another review of my project.
