Biography

I have been farming/Ranching for 40+ years. Owned my own land since 1991. I have raised and shown, Longhorn cattle ( also worked for cow calf and feed yard operations) Dairy goats ( also owned a cottage cheese making business) Horses. Have raised and shown over 15 Hall of Fame and 8 Supreme Hall Of Fame as well as shown and been accomplished in Classical dressage, show jumping, cutting and roping. Fox hunting was also a past time. I have developed a breed of sheep. currently compete with Border Collies in sheep trials. As for small farm activities, I have gardens, orchards, and so on. Since 1993 I have been active in herbal medicine to the extent my Drs agree to let me treat myself when needed and simply monitor me. I have over come many serious health issues with herbal medicine. The worst being a brain tumor in 2006. As for self sufficiency, I have been butchering my own from bison and cattle to sheep, goats, small game and poultry for years. Canning, and drying food is a constant.
Im not here to earn badges Im here to find the right person to possibly take over the property some day. Im not interested in "families". Although a married couple would be expectable.

Looking ng for apprentice in the Ozarks

Not looking for underpaid help. I've got this on my own. What I am looking for is somebody that can use some of the land that I'm not using. So let's see what you got. I don't pay you you don't pay me. I have about 30 acres that I'm not using and if you can put it to good use we can go from there. Of course it must be the right person. We have to get along. We have to have the same goals. I'm a little hesitant to put too much here because of past experiences. But if you're open to a challenge and creative, this might work for both of us.

Is a landowner, there are all kinds of problems. There is literally no way to find out how to donate land. Everything is through these threads. It is not only frustrating but it definitely looks to me like all you want is money for your classes for these people that want inherit land but yet no real way for anybody to get in contact or donate land. It seems to me to be a huge scam to these people that are paying a lot of money for classes and then they have to go out and find people that don't know them to will their land and their farm to them.
I did find one thread where there were 10 people that had land one of them had maybe four acres and it wasn't cleared. It's a big joke and a big money scam. I did want to find somebody from your program I did want to donate but after looking into it with no contact no way to contact anybody I don't want anything to do with your program it's a joke

I promise you there will be more SKIPers than Otis, why? Because if this was set up right I would have been an Otis. Given that its damn near impossible to find where to sign up, everything is based through this thread vs an actual web page to sign up or see those who are wanting property, Im not doing it. The way this is done, has cost someone 60 acers in the Ozarks. Ive looked for 4 days as has 2 of my friends and still don't know how or where to sign up as an Otis... so good luck to you folks paying thousands of dollars for knowledge you could have just hooked up with me before I die and I would have shown you for free. What a rip off and waste of time.
