The key part seems to be to have 6 separate attempts asking strangers to finance your dream
It sounds like an offer to buy the Golden Gate bridge and get a return from road tolls.

Do you need to own land or have long term access to it?

Hey John, haha the thought crossed my mind alright.

But really its just investing in a business idea thats backed by property, which holds it value really well, and that actually tries to do something good for the world/community, unlike most businesses!

Private investors, crowdfunding and business partners are all technically strangers' money but they're all legit and I'm super excited about exploring them.

Owning would be first priority but long term access would be pretty epic too! You cant really own land anyways haha

Anyone know of any good resources to find land?

I’m absolutely dying to have a big ass property to put cows, chickens and goats on. All in and around the food forest.

I want a full animal highway around it, with loads of ponds as watering holes! All linked up by swale and microclimates.

I’ve got all this knowledge and a dream that keeps me up at night, but I can’t get the money together to get out of my apartment.

And my parents' garden isn’t big enough for everything I want to do.

I don’t even want to put this project on someone else's land. I want it to be fully mine.

All I know is that the longer I don’t have my permaculture sanctuary, the more I get crushed by the concrete.

I just started this course that actually feels like the answer, so I had to share it.

They educate people on how to get a plot of land, through a few different funding methods.

Their permaculture stuff is at a pretty high level so perfect for beginners but doesn’t go into the crazy detail I’m used to.

I don’t mind though because I’m more after the funding and the land info atm, so its perfect for that!

Their promise felt like a lot at the start, get land with none of your own money, but they go into so much detail on other ways to get funded.

There are actually so many ways to get around the stupid personal mortgage system that we’re all brainwashed to believe is the only way!

They have modules on owner financing, something that I’d never heard about before starting the course.

As well as some epic websites to find super affordable land on! Check out Discount Lots if you’re in the US.

(I’m in Ireland, so its not as applicable, hence my question)

I know nothing about investors and business plans but they outline that process so clearly and it doesn’t seem too bad, so I’m excited to explore that avenue.

They really show you how to frame the idea so it provides value to anyone, so thats like super useful!

I dunno but it really feels like I’m moving in the right direction.

I’ll share my crowdfunding video in here if I go down that route.Give you guys a chance to come visit Ireland and see my dream coming to life!

Anyways, I thought I’d share in case anyone else is in the same situation as I was in. I can’t believe how its changed my thinking already!
