I have been growing sweet potatoes ( Beauregard) for a few years, last spring I bought a few organic murasaki, let them sprout and planted them: it worked really well. I started to harvest and I found big potatoes. I use old tires as containers for all my sweet potatoes. Got 15 to 20 lbs per tire.
I give the vines to my rabbits and goats. They love it. No waste…, then I use the rabbit poop as fertilizer back in the garden.
