After reading the replies concerning the old generator head run by a windmill..... I am amazed. Sounds too much like past failure syndrome! I am about to do exactly this... starting yesterday. If you know a little you can easily build a nice tower, gear up a wind turbine, 's output, make a frame and bearings, and change the conical shaft shape. Sorry guys... even though I don't have all the answers now doesn't mean anything... I believe there is a solution to every jam in every project. Wow! Check out that power !......
