Wow. Your journey and your sharing, I’m newish here and it’s such an amazing resource and I admire all that you have done for the world through your various and incredible efforts.

I would invite working with the quantum field (and some will immediately discredit this is quackery) but the work of Joe Dispenza is powerful. He suffered a severe spinal injury and rehabilitated himself through visualization. Sounds to good to be true but it is a discipline of shifting neurology and physiology through attention. We literally can up and down regulate genetic expression (turning genes on and off happens in relation to environment and the whole field of epigenetics is dedicated to this.)

I’m two years into overcoming all sorts of chronic and hard to treat illnesses (lymes , Postural orthostatic tachychardia, mold toxicity) using neuroplasticitiy principles. The program I used was www.retrainingthebrain.com
Dispenza’s work amongst that of a bunch of brain scientists informs it.
Dispenza’s book Becoming Supernatural and the meditations there in - or doing a retreat. Miraculous things happen (literal “impossibilities”).

Wishing support and swift recovery!

Hi Carmelo, Yes, I'm definitely going no matter what and, yes, he may well be there. :) Thanks for the kind words and encouragement!
Hi James, I've been here almost a year. Thankfully, the rain hasn't hit as hard where I am - and the roads I need day to day are still open. Wish I had a harvesting set up for sure though!
Hi everyone, I'm Julie Ann.

39. I'm a light loving, earth honoring, deep diving, silly goober, and renaissance soul.
I'm a Portuguese-American dual citizen. I was a Waldorf early childhood and nature based educator most of my adult life and have recently made a move into social work, working with foster youth in an emergency shelter. I'm unabashedly a nerd with a quick and quirky mind. Lover of learning (when I’m interested in the subject) and a total dad for puns. I'm deeply emphathic; inherently spiritual and personally and professionally committed to a host of practices for wellbeing.
I have a master gardener and master composter training, I've started community gardens, I've worked on farms and managed markets. I don't have a PDC under my belt but I know that indigenous land management and regenerative practices are where it's at.  I LOVE composting, vermicomposting, rainwater harvesting and small scale human technologies for sustainability.

I am currently in inland Southern California off grid just outside of the town where I work. I've been preparing mentally and financially for a move to Portugal in the fall once I complete some trainings I have underway.

My dream is to create a little flower & herb agriturismo/homestead/learning center as the home base for a rich life filled love, music (I sing and am learning guitar) and seasonal traveling/exploring.

I'm looking for someone who:
- knows they want a long-term commitment/wants to find the person they would settle down with
- is interested in settling down abroad in Portugal

The latter part takes upfront willingness/curiosity/a sense of adventure.

The rest is a matter of time and getting to know one another.

* I'm not looking to rush into anything and want something to slowly unfold with someone. Getting to know one another for a time etc. * But I'm up front with the dream.
I'm that kind of dreamer a practical dreamer. Meaning: I aim to turn my dreams into lived day to day reality.

I've already found this wonderful project in central Portugal that is seeking applicants to rent this agricultural land - with year round water, great soil, and a livable house as well. I don't have enough farm/homestead experience to take it on solo; join me!
