Old thread I know, but I landed here after doing a search so I'll give it a shot. Looking for some advice. I need a chipper, as I'm tired of having to haul stuff off to the dump and wasting gas. A buddy of mine at work has one of these superhandy branded chippers http://www.chainsawstoday.com/the-best-gas-powered-wood-chipper-my-review-of-the-superhandy-7hp-chipper-shredder/ He's willing to sell it to me for $150. I actually borrowed it the other weekend and it ran fine. I'm just not sure if I'm better off paying $150 for a used one, or finding a new one and maybe a better brand and spending more money. Thoughts?
Once you get used to carrying a knife, you will want it every day. At least to me, it's one of those things that's indispensable. You will find more and more uses for it, and wish you had it if you by chance leave the house without it.
