Are you passionate about sustainability, community, and making a difference? We're thrilled to announce our future ranch project, and we want YOU to be a part of it!
Here's what we're all about:
**Inclusive Living:** Our vision is to create a welcoming and inclusive community where individuals of all abilities can live, work, and thrive together. Each person, couple, or family will have their own living quarters built from resources on the land and donated materials, ensuring that everyone has a comfortable and sustainable home.
**Sustainable Agriculture:** We're committed to growing our own food using permaculture, aquaponics, and sustainable farming methods. From fruits and vegetables to dairy and eggs, we'll produce as much as we can on-site, supplementing with purchases until we become fully self-sufficient.
**Renewable Energy:** With commercial experience in building solar electricity projects, we'll focus on sustainable energy solutions for the ranch. Our electric vehicles will be powered by solar, wind, and filtered wood gas, reducing our carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels.
**Community Education:** We'll offer hands-on classes to the public on farming, environmentally sound construction practices, animal husbandry, mycology, cheese making, and more. By sharing our knowledge and skills, we'll empower others to lead more sustainable lives.
**Collective Buying Power:** As part of a buying group, we'll leverage our collective purchasing power to secure large bulk discounts on food and materials, helping us save money and minimize waste.
**Your Input Matters:** We value your input and ideas. Whether you're passionate about sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, community building, or something else entirely, your contributions are essential to our success.
**Join Us:** If you're interested in being part of this exciting project, now's the time to get involved! We're currently in the design phase and gathering members in principle. Once we have enough interest, we'll break ground and bring our vision to life.
**Donate Land or Real Estate:** As a small non-profit based in Texas, we're also seeking land and real estate donations to support our mission. If you or someone you know is able to help, please reach out – every contribution makes a difference.
We have not yet decided what state to build the ranch in, but we are able to register our 501c3 “Resq Mission” in any state.
