P. Schaaaf: I live in Loveland and have been trying for 5 years to get my melons to ripen. Do you think it would be too late to plant Sweet Dakota Rose? Also, would you have a seed or two to share? I've had a clear plastic tarp over my melon bed since March and on sunny days, it's about 100 degrees in there. I planted May 5 from seed and am hoping my experiment will work. I tried Charentais last year and they just didn't ripen in time. Then again, last June was cool and rainy and my melons hated that!
