So I wonder can you finish lump charcoal to biochar. I understand all the reasons for not using lump charcoal, as it still contains the oils and possible toxins, and does not have the same surface available for the biochar. I hoping to use lump charcoal to get my burn going...seems ok, but hope get validated from someone.
