I bought a DR 26 10.5 HP at Northern Tool and Equipment on 5/22/24.
Followed all the instructions meticulously.
Ran it in a grassy patch in order to run it in.
Within an hour the engine blew. NO compression at all.
Took it back to NT&E in Tarpon Springs FL.
Their service is terrible.
Tried to contact DR directly. 40 minute wait.
Finally decided to send a note via their website.
Let’s hope their service is better than their agent. Let’s see??
Very dissatisfied right now.
I think I may have gotten a lemon.
I understand that can happen but let’s see how DR fix the problem.
