I am going to try wood pellets and mix in with soil, when wet they dissolve but keep the moisture quite a bit. I use it in our litter box and we have 4 cats, I throughly wash it out 1 time a week and when strangers come they are shocked to find NO CAT SMELL, And when I dump the box all the wet urine is in the dissipated wood chips. We use it in the stalls for the horses also. I am going to partially wet the pellets and mix with soil ( having 3/4 soil to 1/4 pellets) and plant some flowers and veggies in it to test my theory
