A little over a year ago, Waste Free in ‘23 began its journey in Nairobi with a mission to support and educate communities globally on efficient waste management. We aim to conserve natural resources, repurpose waste into valuable products, eliminate harmful waste practices, and create full-time jobs within communities.

Using a heat press and molds, we can melt PE/soft plastics without fire or smoke, transforming them into sellable items like bowls, bins, and more.

By participating in our fundraising opportunities, you can directly contribute to cleaning up communities and educating others about the environmental benefits of proper waste management. With only 10% of plastic recycled globally and 30% of waste mismanaged, your involvement is crucial in helping us achieve our goal of recycling 100% of plastics and creating a zero-waste Earth.

By spreading these circular recycling methods and others worldwide, we plan to eliminate waste and create sustainable jobs everywhere.

So far, we've helped over 10,000 homes become waste-free and have created nearly 4,000 community jobs. Join us in our mission and make a lasting impact today!

Hi Kellie,

I work with a nonprofit called Waste Free 23' which started a little over a year ago in Nairobi. The goal of Waste Free 23' is to support and teach communities how to efficiently manage their waste to conserve natural resources, repurpose "waste" into valuable products, eliminate trucking dumping and burning of waste, and create full-time jobs within communities.

Using a heat press and molds you can melt PE/Soft plastics without fire or smoke and create sellable products like bowls, bins, and more! If we can spread these circular recycling methods worldwide we can eliminate waste for good.

So far we've helped over 10,000 homes become waste-free and have created nearly 4,000 jobs for communities.

The website contains several guides on how to get started yourself and if you're interested you should send us an Email!
