Reading your thread in 2024 having encountered a situation just as you describe Nick. Full of despair and exhausted I thought I’d see what others recommend, having checked setting up of scythe and sharpened. And sharpened some more. But still nose diving into the ground or bouncing over the thatch. So I guess I had better get round to peening.
