Yes, I bought a bag of wild bird seeds, evidently while the birds were eating, some seeds dropped to the ground, I put the feeder over a dirt area, something started growing, I looked it up and found out it was Rye. So now it’s grown for a while and has the rye seeds on top. Couldn’t believe when I saw the sparrows all gathered around eating the seeds from a bent stalk! I won’t have to buy bird seed anymore!!
