Hi, thanks for reading! My family of five (3 kids) and another couple are in the early stages of setting up an off grid farm in East Tennessee. We're currently cleaning up some land and getting our solar together. We would love a couple more artists and dreamers to join us in the beginning.

We have 11 acres, a few growing zones, lots of trees and peace and quiet. It's predominantly an amish community and off the beaten path.

We're looking for some chill people to help grow food, make art, music, and just be a villager in our village. Kids are welcome, we utilize a secular homeschool. We're non religious and lean very far to the left. You would have space for an RV and space for your solar. We have a free water source nearby and would catch rain water. We use composting toilets. We would share responsibility for the farm, but personal property is your private property. The farm and the land isn't a money making venture, but a community building one.

I'm sure you have a ton of questions still, and I will be happy to answer everything and provide further details.

Family of 5 looking for 5+ acres for homesteading/permaculture farm. I have a strong passion for regenerative farming and social impact. Growing food for low income families and future generations. Lots of ideas for creative income streams.

Has anyone else noticed how much land and housing has been bought up by private equity? If you are aging out and have some acres in Middle or East Tennessee or western North Carolina that you don't want to sell to Blackrock, let me pay for your land for the remainder of your life.

We don't need a house, keep it sell it, pass it down. We want to build a hyperadobe home on the land and not have a mortgage. We will pay a monthly fee for the rest of your life and continue the hard work you have put in. Stay in your home and enjoy free produce, or get an RV and travel with the assurance that your land is safe.

This is my first time posting in Permies after lurking a while. I read about aging farmers and disappearing farms and wanted to try a new (possibly) approach.

Please let me know if you know anyone or if this is crazy and would never work. Thank you so much for reading! Tell me what you think.
