I have 5 dogs, 4 of them are super prey driven my
American staffy that I rescued from being put down when I was working at the animal shelter ( 12weeks at the time) is the worst. He’s killed 2 goats in the past and I gave up on getting anymore. We recently moved and we have 3acres now so my husband got some goats before we could even put out fence up so our dogs had to be chained and somehow even on a chain my dog got ahold of another goat I was heartbroken, he just got ahold of another one today but only bit her leg before I heard and ran out there. He’s super protective, prey driven and territorial. We built a privacy fence and I’m putting electric wire all around the whole thing to see if that’ll help regular electric collars and stuff for dogs don’t work on any of mine so we’re using a livestock electric wire. If this doesn’t work idk what to do I’m a big time animal lover so I want animals out here but I will not risk any animals getting killed either.
