Can anyone help me with this table? I don’t have photos; it’s being “touched up” with a matching stain where there are some good knicks in the wood. But we love the patina of what might be original, or at the least, an old refinish, and we’re leaving that alone. We call it a baker’s table, but maybe it not. I cannot find anything like it on internet.
The unusual part is what we think is a flour “drawer”, but it is not a drawer, as it pulls down…not slide out. It’s like the bottom is “hinged”. When open, the inside tapers to a narrower space. The legs have old, small wheels. And there are two cabinets to the right of the flour bin, with one shelf in each. The shelves are moldy, and getting replaced, as well as, any renewing that can be done inside the cabinets without harming the whole piece.
Can anyone name or date this?
I’ll see if I can leave a drawing of it…but I’m not an artist as you will see!
Nope…can’t post drawing!
