Love this. We are still looking for our final home, that is not only self-sufficient but also that of environmentally kind. I will share this with my husband later in the week, as his hours are long.
Thank you. I did not realize that. I will check that out.

Thank you. This year was a year of an odd call for chicks, meaning everyone and their brother was purchasing them. They were getting them in, and were sold by the time one drove down there. It would be worth checking the various farm stores, but they stopped getting them in.

I do believe, if I stay connected, I will be able to get some rabbits from Blue Seal.

Thank you. We are in the Concord area.
When we got the email that the chicks were gone, I asked why we were not notified. I guess they used an outside source, where they "called". I have a landline, which does not take text messaging. It's getting harder and harder for us to get notifications from businesses.

We will hopefully find some, if not we patiently wait until next spring. We will also be getting some rabbits and I've heard that Quail is a good source for high protein eggs.

We are in the market for rabbits (NH). Our daughters raised them when we homeschooled them in the past. Their pellets were made a difference in our gardens. I miss having them, and once hubby gets the hutch built, we will have a home for them.

A little late, as the pullets we ordered, arrived at the store, and we were not notified like they had done in the past. It was a crazy year where everyone started to raise chickens, and some have purchased to sell at a huge mark-up. That's life though.

We are hoping to get a few pullets or young hens

Our girls love that I grow kale outside the fence. Well, they would prefer the bucket inside, but right outside the fence works, as I can turn the bucket every few days. I will be adding clover

The raspberries that grow everywhere, even when we try to keep things tame. I'm keeping the comfrey in pots, but it spills out. Wormwood might bother some, Valerian Root, and I'm sure many more.

Therefore, I don't worry about it at all. My personal meme centers around the idea that more species leads to more resilience and more life. I judge life as good.

Love your outlook!! I honestly never thought our prolific plants would offend anyone, but there does seem to be plenty who get upset over having mint in their yards. We have it everywhere, and it is heavenly!!

Don't fool around with a girl from Jersey, is all I have to say.

BAHAHAHA. That's awesome!! My raspberries keep coming up everywhere. But, I have tamed them in rows, but  allow others to come up for the birds. A little for us, and some for our feathered friends. We just need the right buyer who will appreciate the free food and herbs.
