New to the page and just saw this post. If you are still having problems with your ducks laying, give them some layer feed and the duck feed you have been giving them. It doesn't hurt the drakes to have a little layer feed as long they have another type and not just layer. I have 4 ducks of my own(2 male and 2 female) and they seem to be thriving. I free range them during the day and I regularly get 2 eggs from them everyday. I'm hoping to get a few more females to add to my flock.
