Mushrooms can be quite beneficial in composting. One thing, you mentioned is a lot of green leaf matter. When kept watered, and at a critical height of 2’ plus. You will get thermophilic bacteria…hot composting. Not good for shrooms,,until they cool off, then it’s enoki or oyster substrate.
