I also have issue with the urine smell, have tried baking soda which just contributed to clogs, and all manner of liquids...peroxide, Clorox Urine Remover (which works well on surfaces but not the pipe. I wound up building an outhouse.

Chris Holmes - The struggles I've had with the separett urine tube clogs!!! Who knew you could just remove the pipe for cleaning!! Thank you!! I've had so many urine backups and spills. I've put everything I can think of through the pipe, snaked it, bought specialty brush on a long spring, contorted myself to clear the urine exit pipe at the back of the toilet. And who puts a 90 bend in a pipe? Why?? Impossible to get a snake past it.
