Hi friends,
I'm in Ireland and I have a southwest facing balcony. I want to grow grapes on the balcony. I don't mind if I don't get a yield, but if I do it's a bonus.
I presume the best thing is to grow them up against the wall onto a trellis?
In any case, I want to know whether I should put them in a pot or in a planter box/trough? I guess the trough would leave more room for roots to branch out? But then it would take up more space on the balcony. If it's not really necessary then I'd prefer a pot.
So, let me know, pot vs planter box, and what dimensions you would recommend.
