Truth And Roots wrote:I am a 44 year old father in Florida looking for a serious, family-minded woman who wants marriage, children, and a homestead/farm centered life.

I am not looking for casual dating, hookups, endless texting, or modern dating games. I am looking for a woman who genuinely wants to build something real: a peaceful home, a large family if God allows it, a productive piece of land, and a life that is less dependent on broken systems.

My long term vision is a farm/homestead lifestyle with gardens, animals, food independence, practical skills, children raised with strong values, and a home built around loyalty, truth, faith or moral conviction, and family. I want a wife who wants to be a mother, who values children, and who sees family as a purpose rather than an inconvenience. Hi I have a homestead and I'm a widow

I am introverted by nature, more of a deep conversation person than a smooth talker. I am not flashy, and I am not trying to impress the world. I care more about character, honesty, work ethic, emotional maturity, and shared values. I believe a man should be protective, steady, useful, and committed to the people he loves.

I am also not very mainstream minded, designed a new form of government from the ground up and wrote a book about it : Uncommon Sense A Short Book About Why The World We Inherited Is Not The World We Must Keep. I value medical autonomy, natural health, food independence, parental rights, homeschooling or alternative education, and the ability to question what we are told. I am looking for someone who is truth seeking, awake to the world we are living in, and interested in building a life outside the normal script.

I already have experience as a father, and I still want more children. I know time matters, so I am dating intentionally. That does not mean rushing blindly, but it does mean I am looking for someone who already knows she wants marriage and family sooner rather than “someday”.

The woman I hope to meet would be kind, feminine, honest, loyal, family-oriented, open to rural life, and serious about building a future. She does not need to be perfect. I am not perfect either. But she should want peace more than drama, family more than nightlife, truth more than approval, and a meaningful life more than a convenient one.

If this resonates with you, I would be happy to talk and see whether our values, goals, and vision for the future line up.

I think that's a great idea. It sounds like a big family. I definitely don't think segregating people by age is natural or healthy, and that's what permaculture is all about

There are some nursing homes that are called Eden nursing homes that have intergenerational aspects like maybe a daycare for the workers and the children come and visit the elderly in the nursing home and assisted living and that they do a garden there's one in the county that I live in but I just recently heard from one of the workers that they were bought out several times and due to the lack of staff due to hiring situations in the demands of the nursing home that all the Eden concepts have been halted it is a Christian nursing home but do do lack of workers that they have halted this and they're no longer doing these things I have an idea for one that the pyramich culture could work with the elderly because the elderly know a lot from life experience especially farmers sadly in America many forms are being sold at auction because the children of the farmers don't want to continue because it's a 24/7 business and lifestyle

Chris Holcombe wrote:Not well. None of them rooted. I’m not sure what happened, maybe blue elders just don’t like rooting from stem cuttings

I let a neighbor take several cuttings from a very old elderberry bush I asked her did they ever bloom or what happened to them and she said that they grew for a while but they never never once they planted them they never bloomed. Then what happened to my tree was some of it died it started to die and then I noticed one winter we had a very bad wind storm high winds of 60 MPH and somehow it got broken at the base from the wind and I saw some shoots come up but by accident my helpers that painted the barn like buzzed busted down and knowingly I felt like since I had to help to do the p*** I didn't want to rock the boat so I didn't say anything because it's very hard to find help these days I had to buy another plan and plan it somewhere else. I had some elderberries around my fence one of the pastures but after while they died they might have been 50 years old.

I don't feel bad I have a friend they look for Moen plants and one year one grew in my pasture I took some leaves off of it and I was trying to dry it I don't know if I did it right but I wasn't really using it so I gave it to my friend and they made a sad that it out of it and then they started selling them in this little storefront they had I bought some from her and I've been using it on this like big bug bite I had her allergic reaction and it helped to go away it's the moment plan and then I told him I saw the moment plant growing on the bike path near where we live. Another thing we used to do is pick grapes and elderberries and we used to pick them on the bike path or different places or blueberries so it's like forge foraging so don't feel bad we all have oddities about each other have a nice day Alicia
