I have a strain of Barred Plymouth Rocks that are fantastic.
They have good type and color.
They are excellent layers.
They are also good brooders and mothers.
They average a lot of larger than they should, but I like the size they are. I will have to work at keeping them from getting bigger.
They lay a medium sized egg and just under large.
I have been keeping poultry for decades and I am very pleased with this strain.
