I love the Grand Shepherd!! She is very vigilant on the property and loves our family. She is kind and gentle with the children and very easy to train. She was outside all night guarding the home and our 3 acres with goats and sheep. She rested uo close to the house during the day. Even in cold temperatures with snow she worked her job of guarding. She naturally does it, it is built in the breed. I would get another if I could afford to feed two. My girl weighs in at 183 - not a small girl but a gentle guard. I love her very much.
