I'm originally from the Central Valley in California. Currently, I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. My husband and I have been married for 9 years. We are both 29.
My husband and I have spent 7 out of the last 10 years doing work-trades on wwoof and workaway to learn about homesteading and permaculture.
The last three years we settled in Oregon to save up money for land. I am lucky that I was able to get a job I love as a pastry chef at a bakery.
I only recently heard about the SKIP program and it is very intriguing. I hope to slowly work my way through the curriculum. Thank you to all who have participated in putting together this website and this program.
