The walk will start from north Italy border and cover the slovenia border until the croatia border stopping at projects promoting sustainability and permaculture in August 2014. This event is promoting symbiotic local meeting & exchange between friends and families at these projects. For visiting participants, this is a good opportunity to spend time in a walking holiday!
volunteers are needed for co-ordination and accompanying the march and will be hosted by the projects. During the halt there will be skill-building workshops, seed exchange, music, local food...we welcome permaculturists, farmers, musicians, photographers, artists!

yes Selen, there is a new project that is teaching permaculture in Croatia. They just made a rocket workshop in Slovenia & a PDC is being held from 18-30 April during which some natural building work will be done which will be continued in other working camps at the same location for building the school structure. Permaculture means "permanent culture”, the conscious design and maintenance of cultivated ecosystems that have the diversity, stability, and resilience of a natural ecosystem. A methodology that teaches to how to adapt a more holistic lifestyle in our physical needs, food, water, shelter, energy, etc., while doing so in an environmentally friendly, sustainable manner.

This 80 hour internationally recoganized certificate course is an opportunity to gain a practical know-how of the process. Ideal for anyone who is curious for recognizing the symbiotic characteristics of natural systems, human societies and economic patterns. The sessions include theory, body work, visual inputs and field activity.
