This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Textiles.

In this Badge Bit you will knit or crochet a blanket. For a queen or king size blanket you'll get 10-15 points, depending on how fancy it's made.

Here are some related threads, articles and videos:

Ways to join Granny Squares for a blanket

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
– you knit or crochet a blanket from start to finish, using all natural materials. For a queen or king size bed (60-76 inches wide and 80 inches long, or in Europe 160-180 cm wide and 200 cm long).

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide proof of the following as pictures of video ( < 2 mins):
– materials and tools you used to make the blanket
– work in progress making the blanket
– the finished blanket, showing the size
