We are creating a sustainable organic farm and need all the willing hands who can come and make this a reality. The property is located along a river and we need help with building cabins, clearing the land, setting up water system and many other projects.

We are a group of people working on creating a small sustainable community. We dont have alot of money so most of this project is funded through hard work and creativity.

You are more than welcome to come on down...space pending..We dont want too many people at one time. However, in terms of food...we cant afford yet to feed everyone so we need everyone to contribute about $10 a day per person (food in PR isnt cheap...that is why we want to grow it) so that we can purchase goods, supplies, and commodities.

Please be prepared to come as if you are camping...there is a building to sleep in however there are no luxuries...we are working on getting it as comfortable as possible. No electricity, no running water. Consider it camping. Hopefully, by the time you are coming there will be lights..

Please email us with your name, contact info and goals. We are open to people staying as long as they want as long as they are able to contribute to the food/supplies donation and are willing to work at least 4 hours a day...5 days a week. Please also, let us know what types of skills you have.

Thanks!

I am coming to Puerto Rico soon, and would love to be a part of this. I have some skills in building, being able bodied there is nothing I can't learn or do. Seeing the original post is in English, I assume Spanish is not a requirement. Who do I contact when I arrive, and where is the project t located? Look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.

Hey there! I would love to join this project, it sounds like an amazing learning experience. I don't know how else to get a hold of you except through this, but please e-mail me at megahndillon@gmail.com. I've been studying how to make a self-sufficient farm for my future family and would love to put my knowledge to work. My boyfriend and I were planning on WWOOFing it next fall/winter and if you have room I would love to be a part of this. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!

Hi my name is Alexandra Budz,

I am a recent graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. I have always loved gardening , and my family tries to use organic produce, meats, etc. and I have become very interest, in doing more. I don't not really have a great deal of experience with permacullture farming, but have done a great deal of research and I would love to learn more.

If you have any opportunities please let me know,

Thank you in advance for your time

Hello! My name is Liz, and I am planning on coming out to PR during the summer. I am an avid gardener and interested in learning more about sustainable farming as well as betting my Spanish. Is this project still running, and if so, are you looking for help this summer?

Please let me know!
