So I was reading up on hulled barley,  which led to barley water, which made me think of rice wash, which made  LAB serum, which made me think of Lactobacillus fermentation of barley products.
Turns out,  there is some positive research on this very thing:
The anti-obesity effect of fermented barley extracts with Lactobacillus plantarum dy-1 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae in diet-induced obese rats

But recipes for home production, not so much.
So I thought,  start by soaking some barley till it sprouts,  and bam, you have rejuvelac.
(Evidently it's slightly more complicated than that, probably deserves its own thread)
Drink up!
Now boil the sprouted grains in lots of  water with a picture check of salt,   as if boiling pasta.
Separate water and barley,  save both.
My thought is to add some organic cabbage to barley water and let it ferment.
Drink up!
Finally, either eat the barley grains,  or blend them with water and strain through a "nut milk bag".
Ferment the barley milk and toss the barley meal, or dry the meal and mix it with mashed sweet potatoes for flat bread.
Then, drink up!

OK,  I clearly don't know what I'm doing,  but there are my ideas.
What are your ideas?

The overall mission is to change the world. When you've done that, then you can read this tiny ad:
