I just spent a few hours with like minded folk, moving woodchips and topsoil to start the Northside Gateway Garden at the corner of Spring Grove and Elmore.
GROWING TRADE PET & PLANT
(https://growingtradestore.com/ )is just across the street, and they are driving force behind the creation of the garden.
They have great plants and a lot of knowledge.

We had volunteers from
Gardens at the Village Green join us.

They are located nearby at 1415 Knowlton Street
Cincinnati, Ohio 45223

We talked about my propensity to join with various community gardens across the city.
I found out that a stones throw away, was Camp Washington Urban Farm
(https://cw.dethbird.com/urban-farm/)

I will be checking them out, they seem up to some good.
We also talked about compost and overcoming  the clay and rocks of the local urban lots.
I have a dear friend who manages at Tikkun Farm, located at  7941 Elizabeth St, Mt Healthy, OH 45231.
They collect and distribute local food donations, host educational and spiritual activities ,garden at scale and raise animals.
They generate a lot of fertility in the process,  which has been invested back into the farm, but they may have surplus compost in the future.

What are other farms, gardens, stores, and other resources that you know of in the greater Cincinnati area?

See where your hand is? Not there. It's next to this tiny ad:
