"Bookmarks" on this site - what are they and how do you use them.

I see that there is this "bookmark" feature available on our profile.

What's it for and how do people use it? I notice that most people's profiles have no bookmarks - Big Al's profile is the exception that I've seen.

I did a cursory search and manual looksee to see if this has been discussed before. Didn't find anything. If there's an existing thread - please point me in that direction!

Jennifer, The way that I use bookmarks is this...

There are so many discussions going on here that it is hard to keep track of them all. If I see one that really interests me or one that has a great video or links, something I want to keep track of. I will book mark it.

As you know many discussions tend to fade down the pages and are "gone". All I have to do is go to My bookmarks and watches and find those posts again.
