Hey Folks!

My name is BettyJo and I live in Central New York! (Syracuse)

I've been interested in permaculture and homesteading for a while and I'm currently doing a little bit of gardening in the yard of my rental property and working on a small organic farm. I'm trying to learn as much as I can before making the plunge into buying some property and starting my own homestead!

Thanks everyone!

Hello BettyJo, Christian here from Syracuse as well! I'm just about to complete my PDC in Ellenville NY at the Center for Bioregional Living. Always interested in talking abut opportunities to work sites and develop them appropriately.

Hi BettyJo,

I went to graduate school for landscape architecture at SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry up in Syracuse. SUNY-ESF has allot of great resources. Getting involved in the community there might be helpful.

Also, Cornell has some great agriculture resources such as the Cornell Cooperative Extension. I also recommend Alchemical Nursery, & the Fingerlakes permaculture institute.
