hazelnuts in chicken run or almonds

I have some prechious netted fully enclosed space in the chicken run left over and wonder what to plant. I think I have enough fruit trees (maybe) and not enough nuts.
Do chicken/duck and hazelnuts combine? Do hazelnuts like chicken manure?
Otherwise I could try almonds but late frosts might kill the blossoms here. I can get: Price, Carmel,Self Pollinating, Ne Plus Ultra and Californian Papershell. Which ones are late to bloom?
I think walnuts cannot be pruned down to 3 meters.

Are hazelnuts happy with lots of fertilizer? And how close would you plant them at most?

I can't say I know the answer, vur my next plantings within the run will be two in the same hole, I saw something on TV recently that suggested that as a space saving method.

Sorry I don't have the source, but I did read that hazelnuts don't like too much nitrogen. And in my experience this is very much the case. I had two 2 year old plants that I nearly killed last year by over fertilizing. This year I only applied once in the spring and they are thriving.

Thanks that's enough. Almonds or peaches, at least peaches like loads of fertilizer. Would be ideal as nuts are even more difficult to protect than fruit.
