Been playing around with
Permaculture and Homesteading in Southern MN for about 5 years now. Always looking for more people to share resources with and collaborate.

Lots of great lessons along the way and loads to learn and do in the future. We will be completing a
permaculture design soon and looking to continue implementing our designs in spring 2016.
We have lots of wild plum, grape, mulberry and crab
apple growing on the property that we enjoy, along with a few
apple and pear
trees we planted. We also have many Boxelder trees on the property that we tap for syrup in the spring. We have an area that we allowed wild grasses to take back after decades of being in the modern farming arena, but now have happily accepted our two huge
hugelkultur beds and a Basswood guild which includes Mulberry, Chives and a few others. In total that area is 3 acres and the rest of the property we plan to develop
permaculture principles on is 7 acres. This includes, of course our
yard. Can't wait to see the lawnmower become more and more obsolete.
