I eat 4-6 a day from my hens. They eat non-GMO
feed and whatever else I give them, along with greens and bugs. The eggs are probably the best quality food I have access to. I've got a few quail laying now, and their eggs are even better than the
chickens'. I'll have many more quail hens laying in about 3 weeks, so I'll actually up my egg intake.
I've done a lot of reading about eggs and cholesterol and I personally don't think there's anything to worry about with egg consumption. Do your own research, but I know quite a few people who eat eggs from their
chickens in large numbers than I do.
FWIW, when I started eating this many eggs I also stopped taking my cholesterol meds. My cholesterol actually got slightly better.
