Hello, what town is your land in? I am working at Princess Place Preserve and am looking for an area within 20 to 30 mins. I have lots of experience working on houses.

I am working full time as a Park Ranger at a nature preserve in Flagler county Florida.  Does anyone know of any work trade stay farms? I may have a converted school bus to sleep in soon. Thank You, Mike Turner

I got a new full time job as Park Ranger in Flagler county Florida so I am trying to move I that direction. I am still in Palatka at the nature preserve but jobs around Palatka don't pay as much. I hope to find a permaculture Eco Village work live in near Princess Place Preserve. I may have my school bus conversion soon so I may not need a place to sleep just a place to park.

Hello Permies. I am looking for land outside of Gainesville Florida to start a little Homestead permaculture garden etc. If it has a well that's great but the buyers will be living aboard their converted solar powered Skoolie and have been for several years while building up their property slowly.  I looked in the area of Hawthorne for them but it is a lot of driving around. They are hoping to find owner financed.  Please let me know if you know of any such properties. Thank you Michael Turner

Hey I'm back.  I've been renting a single wide trailer on a 47 acre non profit nature preserve off of the hwy17 and West River rd which is Palatka but some say its Bostwick but not quite. It's finally got it's non profit status one one side of the property and working on business statues as a farm on the other.  There is a 10 bedroom 10 bath house being rebuilt.  I would love to come visit you guys soon.  Is there an event coming up soon, do i make arrangements or just show up? S. Benji,  welcome,  I do know there is a permaculture farm in Fort Myers or close called Echo farms. Look them up on You Tube. They do a tour and sale plants cheap from what I hear.  If you ever make it to Palatka I would give you some of my plants free.  

I don't own this land.  I am a non profit board member though I am the only one living here.  Other members are retirees and financial backers.  I own and left behind my 2 acre and a house to my ex-gf and her 3 children and 7 dogs and to help with this project that fits my lifestyle. We don't hate each other.  We are just from two different worlds. She parties and drinks and smokes and wastes a lot of money. All good but not for me. I stayed for years for the children but finally left for them. I do have over as much as I can get them and I always miss them. I love children. I rent a single wide trailer here with 2 rooms and 2 bedrooms. There is a 10 room house about to be refurbished with a bunker I am currently using as an art studio. It will become a community center which will need a manager. I plan to convert a bus into an RV for future summer travels.  I would love to meet a like minded woman.  I can't date a smoker or an alcoholic and I am allergic to dogs and cats.  Though I love all animals.  I have a 7 years-old daughter that does not live with me but we spend good time together. I am an environmentalist,  strive to grow my own food, practice sustainability and believe in sacrificing for the better.  I am not into material things yet like practical things like a tractor etc to help on the farm.  I am not vegetarian but it seems like I am,  though I believe in a balanced diet like adding a little meat, mostly fish. I do whole foods and trying stay away from processed foods. I am also an artist and love to be creative and just have fun with it though I have made a living off it.  I am a park ranger as a regular job at a state park.  If you want to know more I would live to chat.  

Mart Hale,  thank you.  I will check it out.  I like to study all kinds of soil producing methods considering the fact that my area is mostly sugar sand and the soil must be created.
