There is a great on going thread on permies called The Miracle Tree - Moringa in the permaculture section. It's true, moringa is most definitely a miracle tree because there are so many uses, and every single part of the tree is medicinal.

When you say house plant, do you mean indoors? If so, they can stay as small as you want them with a little bit of maintenance. Moringa can withstand lots of pruning, and that is how people use the moringa as a leaf crop; by pruning back the new growth when it has 3 new main branches. (I believe they cut back the 3 new main branches, but I will look into it just to confirm it. So if you are reading this, take that with a grain of salt until you see the update. )
