I enjoy your podcasts  and more than once have had the urge to respond to something  that came up in them but there really isn't a logical place on the forums to do so directly.

Perhaps if you had such a thread dedicated to each podcast or video ..especially if there was a direct link to the thread (on the videos at least), it would be easier for people to respond on the forums rather than emailing you.

People do like to be held by the hand and told where to go and permies.com is a BIG place these days.

just a thought.

Hi Pam,

Most of the podcasts are actually posted in a forum thread so they can be discussed. The podcast links are subtle - embedded in the podcast description - (more on that in a moment).

As for videos, I just double-checked a couple of the recent videos and relevant threads are listed in the bottom of the YouTube comments section though you usually have to expand the comments to see them.

To help with the podcast links, here are a few of the recent ones:

Podcast 85 greed: go to meaningless drivel thread on greed and permaculture

Podcast 84 Alexia Allen: go to permaculture thread on Alexia Allen

Various Sepp Holzer podcasts, Podcasts 80-83 for Chapter 1 of Sepp Holzer's Permaculture, and Podcasts 34 & 35 for Sepp Holzer film discussions. For these, there are many places to discuss Sepp!
One place for discussing the book itself might be a new thread about Sepp Holzer's books
Or, go to a thread more specific to a Holzer technique, such as terracing, or hugelkultur.

For even more forum threads, if you click on the podcast links I made above, and/or go to the richsoil.com/permaculture podcast blog, in each podcast description, there are usually many links to forum threads (and more info).

Another quick way to find them is with the Search button (in the top right corner of the screen under your name) here on permies.com.

Does that help?
