extension cord for earphone with mic?

With so much zoom going on, I'm feeling a need for a way to talk to my computer.

Maybe I'll get a headset one day soon?  Maybe.

But if I do, I need to get a loooooonnnnng cord.

The headsets that fit my ear/head have short cords.

Moving the computer isn't an option at this time.  And some clever clogs put the jack at the bottom of the tower.  sigh.

So... I need an extension cord that goes from a headset/mic (with single three-ring plug) to the computer (which has a separate plug for speaker and mic)


My question: what words do I use to find the cord I need?    What words will Amazon understand?  

"audio jack extender" has a good chance of being useful
You'll want female-male cable (or M-F) not with the same (MM or FF)
