search results show "one found" but no message link displayed

As subject says. The search was for one member's posts. I see from the "My Posts" page that there is a post by this member after my previous post; but when I display that thread the member's post does not display - my post is the last one displayed. Doing a search on the member's name yields the results in the attachment.

Hmmm.. Well the attach/browse dialog doesn't show the pic file even though it seems to show all other files in that directory, will change the sort order and in all ways appears fine. I can locate and open the file from my file manager perfectly. I'll try entering the file path/name manually; "Preview" doesn't display the pic but I'll Submit and see what happens.

OK. Note the Search Results says found 1 record, then note the bar below "Permies>> Forums" says "No results..."

I can see my last post (10/29/12 - 12:03am) but not the last post from "abhishek kumar"

I've experienced this problem before but haven't tried to test it down to see when exactly it will manifest.

Actually, the post after yours was from a spammer. The post is no longer there.

OK. That explains "no post".

But something's off because both "My Posts" and "Search" (part of Search, anyway) says there's a additional post in that thread. Maybe the indexes are rebuilt only periodically, like once a day? I'll see what shows up tomorrow.
