I noticed that there is no
thread about folk's favorite seed catalogues. Perhaps this is a good opportunity to share.
I will share a couple, but before I do, I am LOOKING for a catalogue. Perhaps someone here knows what I am looking for.
Several years ago I received and ordered from a catalogue that was obviously primarily for farmers. They sold seeds in packets, but also by the pound. They had not only garden seeds, but seeds that normally only a farmer would be interested in, like bush beans that all mature at the same time, which facilitates harvesting for market.
I am interested in two specific seeds: 1) the green beans mentioned above, and 2) a variety of sorghum. Any ideas what my farmers' seed catalogue might be called?
Now for a couple of
local catalogues that are pretty good, especially for the Pacific Northwest.
