Hello, I'm a $100 level supporter of the recent Low Tech kickstarter. I live where I have to go to town to use the internet. I went to download the videos for watching at home and I can't seem to figure it out. Can you help me?

Thank you so much in advance.

Hi Alex! Which videos were you trying to download? Maybe some of them might be streaming, and not downloads?

You should see everything you have access to indexed in your My Stuff.

I spotted Rocket Oven HD download and Rocket oven tiny download (this would probably be faster for in town download)

For All of PDC +ATC download I'm pretty sure each download is indexed in it's own thread in the private PDC video and Private ATC video forums.

You might want to check out these forums for indexes of what's in each PDC and ATC download:

Index of ATC Tiny Download Videos andIndext of PDC Tiny Download Videos

I hope that helps!

(And it's good to see you around here on permies. I seriously love the permaculture cards you designed. They're beautiful, and I'm always handing them out to people!)

Hey Alex! I think it's the Justin Rhodes' webinar you're asking about: https://permies.com/wiki/213402/Justin-Rhodes-Homestead-Design-Webinar

Yes, this is a streaming-only item with a downloadable PDF of the slideshow.  Thanks for your support with the Kickstarter!

So have had a chat with the behind-the-scenes gophers and we could see if there is enough demand for a download (which would have a small upgrade fee attached).  So if we can get more than 20 upvotes on this post here then we can see if it's something that can be done by contacting Justin and going from there.  Ready, set, vote!

That would help me immensely!

Also, I'm going out to my "My Stuff" and none of it has a download option, just the pay for it option. I apologize if I'm being thick-headed, but I am having a helluva time getting my content. I have to wait until I get into town to download stuff and when I get there, I'm lost when it doesn't have download links. I'm signed on and doing everything that I think I should as in using the links sent to my email and clicking in the MY STUFF link under my name in the upper right hand corner.

Any help would be beyond appreciated!  I'd love to get this stuff and start looking it over. It seems that new kickstarters start before I can get my last one. Ha ha.

Thank you so much for any help on this!
Alex

Hey Alex, so with my comment above- i asked for at least 20 upvotes from other interested permies, to look into a download option for the Justin Rhodes product and it looks like the interest isn't there right now, so that will stay as streaming only for now.

With regard to your other stuff from the Kickstarter - you are looking in the right place, the My Stuff page is the right place to locate all your items and I can see you've got a huge list of items in there (all of which are available to you in the formats listed on the Kickstarter).  Some of these items are downloads, for example, the first one on the list is the shaving horse plans and if you click on this it will take you to the listing (the home of the item).  When you scroll down the page, keep going past the buy button, and you'll see a download link below that as you have access to that content.

Most of the movies are streaming, but there are plans and ebooks that you can download and they are available to you via the My stuff page - perhaps you just needed to scroll down further to find the download link :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply.

I have scrolled down below the buy link, but no other one seems to have a download link, just the Shave Horse one.  All of the stuff in My Stuff was part of the kickstarter too right?  That's part of the $100 level true?  I only see the BUY link.  Sorry for the trouble.  Thanks for any help. Getting these kickstarters seems to be a lot of tech-minded stuff that maybe I'm not good at. Kind of confusing. :(

OK WAIT, HA HA!  I think what's getting me is that everything that I was confused by is actually streaming and not a download.  So sorry. I  wish I'd have known this. I guess somehow this is easier on your servers?  OK, anyway, I'll figure something out. THANK YOU!

Hey Alex, yep, that's it! Most of the movies/recordings would be HD streaming - and they would be listed like that.  And most ebooks, plans etc are downloads. With some products on permies you can choose to pay more for a download - see this product, for example.  But yes, with the products you're talking about in your 'my stuff' the recordings are streaming - so you scroll down in the listing to watch the content.

Thanks and hope you enjoy :)
