I have never heard of a "tabico" cat until we began fostering one, today. Currently a 6 month old kitten, I think she will be our forever cat. (It is for a 7 year old, one who thinks that "Snuggles" is a wonderful name for her--but you and I both know that the cat will still be with me and her dad in 20 years, and I will be an old lady bringing "Snuggles" to the vet every year. Once Miss G has started her own life, riding off into the sunset,  I will have to give this cat a nickname...I prefer Greek and Roman names for my animals!)

I guess one might call our Tiny Kitty a "tabico".

I am not sure that is an official name though I did find it with a google search.

When we took Tiny Kitty to the vet, I put down that she was a tabby.  The vet scratched through that and told me that she was a "Calico".

I love that you call her "Tiny Kitty." My uncle (he is also a transplant to the Southern USA!) had one named "Kitty Girl" which I also love.
